Denver International Airport Covered Due To Heavy Snowstorm

In Denver, On 29 October, there are hundreds of flights coming in and out from the Denver International Airport. On Saturday there was a heavy snowstorm so the flights were canceled and delayed. This is a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day on Saturday. In this season the first snowstorm impacted most of the state are Denver Metro area. The Metro area is also affected by the winter storm warning, until around noon Sunday. Due to the heavy snowstorm, several roads were closed in the mountains because of crashes and hazardous conditions.

In Denver International Airport, there is air traffic and 871 flights are coming from the in or out point of Denver. The flights are delayed as of 10 p.m. The information was obtained from Flight Aware, that 86 flights were canceled at DIA, and from SkyWest 61 flights were canceled. Passengers are warned on Twitter to check the status accordingly before heading to the Denver International Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration reports to passengers that the delays are due to ice and snow. The 13 flights were canceled for Sunday at DIA because of the Saturday evening snowstorm.
