On the evening of November 24, 2023, a series of loud explosions shook the peaceful community of White Lake Township at around 10:30 pm. The blasts were so intense that they could be heard from several miles away, causing a wave of panic among the residents.

The source of the explosions is still unknown, but witnesses reported seeing bright flashes of light and thick plumes of smoke rising from the direction of a nearby industrial park.

The Explosion source is not confirmed yet it appears to be from an oil drilling site on Bogie Lake Road.

According to White Lake Police, it’s confirmed that something is happened but they are trying to find out how and what happened.

Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene to assess the situation and provide assistance to anyone in need but currently, Bogie Lake Rd from Highland Rd to Biscayne Blvd is shut down for safety purposes.
