Super Bowl 57 kicked off with the Eagles taking a 7-0 lead. The Chiefs responded with a touchdown drive of their own, trying the game at 7 on with an 18-yard reception by Kelce.

However, the Eagles took a 14-7 lead at the start of the second quarter with a 45-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to A.J. Brown. The Chiefs were unable to counter, but Kansas City managed to even the score when linebacker Nick Bolton recovered a fumble by Hurts and returned it 36 yards for a touchdown.
The Eagles advanced down the field on their following possession and finished the drive with a touchdown run by Hurts to regain a 7-point lead. Kansas City once again failed to score on their subsequent drive, and the Eagles added a field goal right before halftime to extend their lead to 24-14.
In the Super Bowl, the Chiefs cut the lead down to three with a touchdown on the first drive of the second half, and The Eagles answered with a lengthy field goal drive, bringing the score to 27-21 as the game entered the fourth quarter.
