Mahomes secured his second Super Bowl victory, leading his team to the AFC Championship game for the sixth consecutive year as the starting quarterback. Super Bowl 57 kicked off with the Eagles taking a 7-0 lead. The Chiefs responded with a touchdown drive of their own, trying the game at 7 on with an 18-yard reception by Kelce.

In the Super Bowl, both teams struggled to move the ball on their following possessions. However, the Eagles took a 14-7 lead at the start of the second quarter with a 45-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to A.J. Brown. The Chiefs were unable to counter, but Kansas City managed to even the score when linebacker Nick Bolton recovered a fumble by Hurts and returned it 36 yards for a touchdown.

The Eagles advanced down the field on their following possession and finished the drive with a touchdown run by Hurts to regain a 7-point lead. Kansas City once again failed to score on their subsequent drive, and the Eagles added a field goal right before halftime to extend their lead to 24-14.

In the Super Bowl, the Chiefs cut the lead down to three with a touchdown on the first drive of the second half, and The Eagles answered with a lengthy field goal drive, bringing the score to 27-21 as the game entered the fourth quarter.
