The Company Space X Signed An Agreement To Launch Satellites On Three Space X Falcon 9

Amazon recently formed a partnership with its chief competitor, as well as Elon Musk’s Space X, to launch satellites that will provide internet connectivity. This collaboration is taking place while Amazon’s founder, Jeff Bezos, continues to pursue his space exploration ambitions through Blue Origin, his own rocket company. Despite the rivalry between Musk and Bezos, it is not uncommon for business competitors to join forces in the field of rocket launches. While some Amazon satellites will be launched using Blue Origin’s large rocket, the launch has been delayed for several years and is now expected to take place next year at the earliest.

On Friday, Amazon announced a news release, revealing that they have agreed to launch their satellites using three Space X Falcon 9 launches. These launches are anticipated to occur in the future.

Amazon is currently lagging behind its competitors, but it has made progress by launching two prototype satellites in October. These satellites were launched using a rocket provided by United Launch Alliance, a joint venture between Boeing and Lockheed Martin. Amazon stated that the previous deal has provided sufficient capacity to launch most of their satellite constellation. Additionally, the new agreement with Space X will offer even more capacity to support their deployment schedule.
