WWE Friday Night Smackdown Randy Orton signed with Blue Brand

Attendees for this week’s occasion of SmackDown saw not one but three main event bents returning to the brand, including Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

The Serpent returned to the company at Survivor Series last Saturday after being on the shelf for over a time. WWE had erected him as a free agent and tonight’s show saw both SmackDown general director Nick Aldis and Raw general director Adam Pearce fighting over who gets to subscribe Randy Orton to their brand.

The main event member of the show saw both the GMs prevailing Randy to join their show. Before he could make a decision, still, Paul Heyman along with Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso came out.

The Bloodline members tried to attack Randy Orton but LA Knight made the save. Knight took out Solo, allowing Randy Orton to deliver an RKO to Jimmy Uso.

Randy Orton also chose to subscribe to the SmackDown contract and asked Heyman to tell Roman Reigns that’ Daddy’s back.’ Nick Aldis held the hand of Randy Orton up in the air only to admit an RKO himself and the show ended with Randy Orton standing altitudinous. While the cameras stopped rolling after this, Jimmy Uso remained in the ring for a long time dealing with the attack.

The first dark match of the night also saw Seth Rollins taking on Shinsuke Nakamura. The ending of this bout saw Seth Rollins fighting a Kinshasa from Nakamura into a check Stomp for the palm.

The alternate dark match featured Cody Rhodes who took on Dominik Mysterio in a mates bout. Cody picked up the palm in the match to shoot the crowd home happy.
